Director of Marketing Sciences
The Director will be responsible for independently executing all phases of custom projects including initial project design, creation of proposals, data analysis and presentation of results. In addition, the Director should be a reliable consultant to CS staff and external clients. The Director will work with managers to ensure the development and growth of all members of Marketing Sciences. More specifically, the Director will be expected to:
- Actively promote to CS the expanding role of Marketing Sciences and foster a partnership with CS in order to increase the value of our analytical offerings as a company.
- Work to raise client expectations of the level of contribution MB can offer and deliver against them.
- Manage/oversee multiple projects, client or client service inquiries and communication results.
- Monitor progress of department as a whole to ensure continued progress with regard to knowledge sharing and career development/growth.
- Promote team spirit and group success over individual contributions.
- Actively seek out opportunities to share learning and promote the exchange of ideas within the group.
- Proactively incorporate new methodologies in order to address client business objectives. Demonstrate to other members of Marketing Sciences how and when to use these methodologies.
- Keep up to date on new techniques and identify situations where they can be applied.
- Build relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Attend industry conferences and seminars as necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years industry experience
- Fluent in SAS
- Strong knowledge of Multivariate techniques
- Experience with Structural Equations Modeling
- Experience with modeling the effect of Advertising, Promotions, to Sales (Marketing Mix Modeling)
- Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills
