Analyst, Web Analytics (Park City, UT)
Backcountry.com has an outstanding opportunity for a talented Analyst. We seek an experienced analyst who is completely comfortable with web analytics. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Analysis and supports the overall company with web metrics.

This position is based in Park City, Utah and is full-time and benefits eligible. Responsibilities
- Ability to be proficient;
- Develop and deploy web metric KPI’s across the marketing, merchandising, and finance departments;
- Responsibilities include daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as well as ad hoc;
- Participate in site redesigns or enhancements as a measurement expert, identify reporting requirements, and evaluate post-launch metrics;
- Structure and monitor A/B and multivariate tests;
- Assist in evaluating the quantitative benefits of new business initiatives by having a thorough understanding of online customer behavior;
- Provide support in determining the factors affecting website visit behavior such as conversion, customer retention, and overall site experience.
Requirements:
- An understanding of web strategy and design;
- Ability to collect data, analyze trends and draw conclusions to make recommendations;
- An understanding of web analytic solutions (Omniture a plus);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all departments;
- Excellent working knowledge of managing data in such applications as Excel, Access or relational databases;
- SQL skills preferred but not required;
- Proven track record of delivering complete, accurate, and detailed results in a fast-paced environment;
- Familiar with ecommerce principles;
- Knowledge of and interest in the Internet required.
