Responsibilities:
As part of our ongoing development, One Technologies, Ltd. is looking for a Chief Scientist. The Chief Scientist will serve as the company's subject-matter expert and have ultimate responsibility for driving the development of our statistical and analytical tools. We are looking for a leader with the acumen and drive to succeed.
Essential Duties:
- Provide technical leadership for all scientific aspects of project development
- Provide the theoretical foundation for day-to-day math and analytical concepts
- Pioneer new numerical methods to extract greater conclusions from limited data
- Serve as an in-house expert on technical questions/theories/data interpretation
- Write and review team test reports
- Perform research and development on complex math and science problems
- Responsible for problem-solving and detailed analysis and execution of applied research projects
- Serve as mentor to grow and develop technical staff
- Will work with teams to introduce solutions and measure operational performance
- Apply principles of mathematical and/or statistical analysis
Qualifications:
- PhD in Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering with a completed Doctoral Thesis
- Statistical/Multi-Variate Analysis background
- Experience in Test Design and Statistical Analysis
- Experience working for an Internet/E-Commerce Company is desired
