Analytics Head (India)

SCOPE OF FUNCTION - Lead the development of analytics based business solutions
REPORTS TO - Head, Innovations lab / Chief Innovation Officer

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and deliver analytics based solutions with tangible business value to 24/7 clients
• Work closely with clients and partners to provide thought leadership and leadership in implementation of analytics based workable business solutions.
• Lead a portfolio of intensive modeling engagements using advanced statistics, optimization and other quantitative methods (neural networks, data mining, systems dynamics etc.)
• Provide insights based on the modeling that will drive high quality business decisions to improve client's profitability
• Deliver presentations to clients in person and over phone/internet

• Passion and deep technical competency in mathematical modeling and business analytics.
• A proven record of thought leadership in the modeling/analytics area - through publications and/or presentations.
• 15+ years experience (including Masters or PhD) in the application of mathematical modeling and business analytics to enable decision-making in business.
• Experience with techniques such as Data mining, Advanced Statistics, Artificial Intelligence based methods, systems dynamics, Monte Carlo simulations, operations research/ optimization etc.
• Experience in using tools such as SAS and/or other data mining & text mining tools
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent computation and data management skills.
• Ability to take complex and/or technical concepts and describe them in easy to understand business terminology.
• Strong project management, writing, strategic thinking and interpersonal skills.
• A track-record of succeeding in client facing roles

• Master's or PhD from a reputed institution
• Field of graduate education - Mathematics, statistics, science, engineering, operations Research, business, computer science or management science
• Coursework and thesis must involve extensive quantitative modeling and/or analysis
