SQL Data Analyst, Contract (Santa Clara, CA)

The client is seeking an individual who is a Jr. to Mid-level person with 2-4 years of experience.
Primary Job Duties - Sets up and assigns user rights to various applications such as Expandable, Agile and external SQL databases under the direction of the Senior Analyst.
- Removes users from applications as directed by the Senior Analyst.
- Distributes, replaces and updates custom reports in Excel and Crystal Reports on client computers and Citrix based accounts.
- Tests new user accounts on Citrix for functionality.
- Adds and removes table records in Expandable, Agile, Access databases such as buyers, inspectors, etc.
- Responsible for backup to CD\DVD important database backups such as month end, year-end and long range backups.
- Performs and documents periodical audits of users and rights in Expandable, Agile, and external SQL database access.
- Provides end user support fixing basic user problems in Expandable, Agile, and Excel.
- Assists Senior Analyst in creating custom reports in Crystal, Excel Visual Basic and other reporting programs.
- Assists Senior Analyst in creating and editing batch programs used for automation.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires an AA degree in Computer Science plus two (2) years related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience. SharePoint 2007 is required!
