SAS Programmer, Contract (St. Louis, MO)


This candidate will be responsible for gathering data from multiple sources, analyzing the data (for errors, discrepencies, etc) and putting it into a depository. Every month these processes for reporting are updated and continually automated. They will be working very closely with the statisticians and other members of the team so communication is extremely important. They have coding standards/reviews that people will need to follow.

Business:

  • Strong written and personal communication skills
  • Strong data management skills
  • Strong data research skills

Technical:
  • SAS macro programming (must have)
  • SQL fluency (must have)
  • CVS, SourceSafe, ClearCase (preferred)
  • Perl, Java, or C++ (preferred)
  • relational data analysis, design (understanding)
