Statistical Consultant (Paris, France)


Statistical Consultant is needed for our client's Paris office who will participate in the design and implementation of customised statistical and reporting applications. The role will be to support the sales team in dealing with statistical queries from clients.

This is an opportunity for a candidate to gain experience in the financial sector with the exposure on training and projects this role offers.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master or above in Statistics, Mathematics or Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial statistical packages (S-PLUS, SPSS, SAS, R etc) is essential.
  • Some experience in statistical analysis, modelling and programming.
  • Strong experience with a variety of statistical estimation and forecasting methods.
  • Solid experience in statistical analysis, which can be from academia.
  • Must be eligible to work in the EU.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
