SAS Developer Needed (San Antonio, TX)Job description: Our direct client is looking to hire a SAS programmer to serve as On-Site Lead and provide technical services. Consultant will focus on statistics and SAS programming for our client. Consultant will perform analysis of demographic and medical data and rate calculation and longitudinal analysis SAS and related products. Performs data manipulation to include data merging from various databases, data formatting and data clean up. Performs data transfer via electronic media to include coordination of transfer with various agencies and data analysis including developing SAS code to apply appropriate statistical techniques. Reports findings using SAS tables and graphs, SAS IntrNet and MS Office products. Interprets findings. Creates data dictionaries. Assists in the development of quality assurance plans and reviews and analyzes assessment plans developed by others. Coordinates research activities associated with these studies to include data collection, data aggregation, data analysis and data interpretation. Writes required reports and documents findings for these projects. Must have a strong background in SAS programming and leadership capabilities.
