SAS Programmer/Analyst, Channel Analytics (San Mateo, CA)

MUST HAVE strong experience as a SAS Programmer (version 9.1). No exceptions.

The main responsibility of this project is to conduct SAS programming and extract data out of aggregate tables.

Other responsible may include developing metrics and analysis, enabling Global Marketing, US Retail Sales, and the Transfer Agency to assess and optimize the efficacy of customer experience and promotional efforts over time.

Provide regular analytical support, opportunity sizing and actionable insights for ongoing and ad hoc customer research. Consult with teams across the marketing and sales organizations, recommending appropriate key performance indicators for each program or research initiative.

May also work with CIA-Predictive Modeling team to identify target customer criteria, identifying key touch points and factors that influence and/or predict customer behavior.

Conduct or participate in various data mining projects such as: customer transactional and behavioral analysis, response modeling analysis, attrition/retention analysis, and customer lifetime value

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in financial services preferred
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel & Access: forms, formulas, functions, pivot tables, graphs, queries
• Strong skills in SAS 9.1 Enterprise Guide
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Mathematical aptitude
• Solid understanding of both email and web analytic methodologies
