VP-Marketing Analysis Manager - GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
This position will manage the Site Analytics function within Retail Financial Services. The group provides analysis / studies, information, and mapping services to help decision makers reach more informed decisions regarding branch and ATM site selection, among other things.
The requirements of this position are as follows: - Ability to extract and process / manipulate large data sets (extract data from the data warehouse, clean-up, process and prepare for analysis, etc.) using a variety of software packages (e.g. Access, SAS).
- Ability to convert data into GIS format, which involves using GIS functionalities such as geo-coding, spatial data processing, spatial queries, etc.
- Experience with map making.
- Respond to various mapping and data manipulation / processing requests.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Required software skills include ESRI products (e.g. ArcGIS, ArcView) and Microsoft office (Access, Excel, etc.). Desired software skills include SAS and Business Objects. Programming experience would be beneficial.
- Should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have good communication and organization skills
- Graduation with an MS degree in Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field supplemented by at least 4 years of experience working with GIS data sets, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required. PhD highly desired.
- SIMs (Spatial Interactive Modeling) experience a PLUS!
