FUNCTIONS: - Enthusiastic and broad-thinking individual will be responsible for the development and management of tools and infrastructure to deliver purchasing performance information critical to management planning and decision-making.
- The information will include contract management, internal spend and supplier performance indicators.
- Responsible for the evaluation and possible integration of an existing contract management data base with a new Purchasing System.
- Key member of the Purchasing System Implementation Team.
- Development and implementation of key operating indicators within the newly created Corporate Non-Trade Purchasing Group.
- Position reports to Vice President, Corporate Non-Trade Purchasing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelors Degree in Finance
- 5+ years experience with analyzing data.
- Strong analytical problem solver, ability to build consensus, comfortable working in teams, and understanding of procurement processes (experience with purchasing preferred).
- Knowledgeable with cash-to-cash cycles and back-end processes (finance experience preferred).
- Strong Microsoft Office experience (including significant MS Excel is a plus) and understanding of statistical analysis and six sigma/lean tools.
