Client Engagement Engineer (New York, NY)


The Sales Engineer works with Corporate Sales Account Executives on developing new business across all AC product lines.

The Sales Engineer must work in an engaged and consultative role to understand customer needs and map them to AC software, service, and offerings delivered in a single packaged. Ideal candidates have previous experience working with publishers, agencies, or technology providers for online advertising or related applications. This client facing role must work with all levels of customer organizations tailoring the messaging to meet the needs of various stakeholders including C-level decision makers.

The ability to effectively communicate the value of AC's solutions (both functionally and technically) to prospective customers is critical both within the sales cycle in the development of tailored sales presentations and collateral that addresses customer pain points. This includes the ability to uncover business requirements, work with sales to develop a business cases and gap analysis, and create and effectively demonstrate solutions that address customer requirements. This role works in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and candidates should be able to successfully balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership in the sales and business development process in tandem with AC executives, providing consulting and direct business domain expertise to the sales and business development process Provide insight and expertise related to process optimization for online advertising management Perform systems demonstrations tailored to customer objectives Work closely with marketing to enhance the sales process and address prospect needs through product marketing materials, case studies, and PR Facilitate and engage in the process of client transition from sales to implementation

Job Qualifications:

Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Detail oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience with PHP Object and Class based development. Ability to map systems, data flows and business processes to maintain a holistic view of corporate business data environments. Ability to proactively spot data trends or anomalies, investigate them and report findings. Experience with Search Engine Optimization strategies a plus. Experience with implementing behavioral or contextual advertising technologies (from AdSense, YPN, CentrPort, Revenue Science, Tacoda, AtlasDMT, etc.) a plus. Thorough understanding Ad delivery systems, OpenAds a plus. Ability to export and analyze data in mTab, SPSS, Excel or other tools. Perform statistical analysis, data mining and predictive modeling on large data sets. Ability to travel domestically.
