Web Analyst - Staples, Inc. (Framingham, MA)
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager of Web Analytics, the Web Analyst position will be primarily responsible for supporting two key initiatives, search and web analytics. The Web Analyst will assist in maintaining the business logic that supports search as well as collaborating with key business partners to provide analysis into user behavior and site usage. Attention to detail, creativity, and analytic decision making are key skills that will make the Associate in this role successful.
- Using Coremetrics, assist with tracking and reporting on key performance indicators including: purchase behavior analysis, functionality usage, and overall customer experience. Provide expert guidance and support to peer business owners who rely on web analytics to manage their respective business units. Create and present comprehensive and accurate reports.
- Collaborate with various Subject Matter Experts to manipulate and improve the product assortment within Search. Utilize the Recommend Search Engine technology to manipulate business rules that determine relevant matches.
- Work with the Manager of Web Analytics as well as with internal business partners to define further reporting and analysis enhancements. Through the use of your analytic reporting, drive enhancements to all aspects of StaplesLink.com, increasing overall end user satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor Degree required
- Demonstrated knowledge of website design and development and their impact on the customer experience.
- Experience with Coremetrics, or other website analytical tools, and performance measurement.
- Highly proficient at analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data; with ability to synthesize information and translate into effective and actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication. Ability to summarize and present information to management in a clear, concise and complete manner.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, using internal data and external research findings to address business needs and package actionable recommendations.
- Self-starter, Creative.
- Confident with learning new technologies, and ability to leverage technology to achieve objectives.
