Programmer, Senior Level, SAS, Contract (Princeton, NJ)

Provide database, programming, quality control, and systems support for multiple clinical trials while adhering to and contributing to Statistical and Programming (S&P) Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Programmer / User Guidelines. Take a project leadership role within the department. Responsibilities: 1. Contribute to Database and eCRF design 2. Transfer data from providers to SAS Platform 3. Create and run SAS code for: derived/analysis datasets, data cubes, quality control, data listings, tables and figures 4. Support Statisticians, Medical Writers, and Study Team / Clinical Stream Leaders by providing Ad-Hoc Outputs and/or Analysis Datasets/Data Cubes in support of Study Evaluation. 5. Contribute to the evaluation, development, design and maintenance of standards (e.g. database, reporting modules, templates, SOPs, and processes) 6. Mentor/Coach less experienced programmers 7. Must successfully act as Project Leader to other programmers assigned Studies within a Project/Compound. 8. Must be able to represent the department professionally 9. Participate in Study Team, S&P, and Project meetings 10. Participate in harmonization and globalization efforts 11. Comply with the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Policy, applicable laws and regulations. Complete all planned EHS training, within agreed deadlines. Maintain defined levels of housekeeping and ensure a clean, clear workplace. Identify and report any safety concerns and unsafe conditions taking immediate corrective action where practicable. Report all incidents, including near-misses, occupational injuries and illnesses. To participate in EHS meetings and workplace inspections.

Required Skills:

BS degree in Computer Science, 4 plus years SAS experience - Masters degree in Computer Science, 2 plus years SAS programming experience - Pharmaceutical Industry experience

Duration: 6 months +
Rate: $60-$80/Hour DOE
