SAS Programmer/Analyst (Emeryville, CA)
The role for SAS Programmer/Analyst is a senior-level position that will provide hands-on SAS development, data processing, and statistical analysis for the engineering team and company as a whole. The person in this role will manage the maintenance of all SAS productions and provide modeling for future releases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and statistical analysis, SAS set-up and management, and the willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Process and transform log data regularly in Unix server based SAS data mart
- Manage on-going operational maintenance of SAS data mart productions to ensure data accuracy, availability and timeliness
- Generate ad hoc reports on SAS data sets and prepare data for insight analysis and predictive modeling
- Conduct statistical insight analysis and predictive modeling
Requirements: - Minimum two years of experience in SAS programming in Unix environment
- Expert knowledge in SAS data step, proc sql and macro, as well as other main SAS Base procedures
- Solid experience in data mining and predictive modeling, such as logistic regression and decision tree models
- Experience in processing large SAS data files, and in web log analysis
- Experience in industry environment, particularly in the Internet space and user behavioral analysis
- Must have some experience of shell scripts, C, C++, Perl or Python
- Advanced degree, such as a PhD preferred in a quantitative field, such as statistics, operations research or experience in statistical analysis
- Must be highly motivated, good at multitasking, willing to learn new skills and have attention to detail
