One of Eastridge Infotech’s premier clients in San Diego is looking for someone to come on board in a leadership role to lead a group of analysts, scientists, and developers. This position is a direct-hire position only.

Target Salary: $160-180k DOE
Position Description
Role/Responsibilities:
Summary - Lead a high-level motivated team that is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting transaction data-driven analytic solutions to business problems using the state-of-art technologies in machine learning, statistical modeling, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence.
- Direct, Coordinate, and drive employee success in conjunction with corporate objectives.
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain a World-class analytics team. This includes hiring, mentoring, defining goals and objectives, and driving success.
- Provide Sr. analytic leadership. This includes managing analytic projects and deliveries, framing business problems, and architecting analytic solutions.
- Develop and implement best practices and polices.
- Drive successful cross-functional relationships. Maintain communication across the enterprise.
- Build strong client relationships. Maintain high-level customer satisfaction.
- Provide senior level representation when needed for client interactions.
- Drive innovations in analytic technology development and translate them into new or improved products or tools.
- Contribute to and participate in executive strategy.
Experience/Qualifications:
Required qualifications - MS or PhD in a science or engineering field
- 8+ years of demonstrated successful industry hands-on experience in development of analytic solutions.
- A thorough understanding of the life cycle of analytic model development, from problem identification to data understanding, model construction, packaging, deployment and support.
- 3+ years of experience in directly managing a team developing analytics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Unix and at least one major programming language, such as C or Java, and at least one scripting language such as shell or perl
Preferred qualifications: - Ph.D. in a science or engineering field
- Financial analytics experience
- Strong experience in developing analytic solutions for fraud preventions and detection
