Data Analyst, Contract (Owings Mill, MD)

• Research and analyze files for data mapping purposes. Map vendor package fields to ODS tables for invoices, payments and receipts. Analyze invoicing, payments, and receipts reports to identify data sources. Assist with requirements documentation. Review test cases and test results.
• Develop, implement, and support forecast trend analysis programs, advanced reporting and analysis solutions. Maintain updated documention on data and report structures and data sources. Develop and support processes to ensure data integrity. Participate in JAD sessions.
• Able to create, store and organize queries and reports. Working knowledge of programming techniques and analysis software (SAS, Cognos, and Access).
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing practices including dimensional modeling and data profiling. Able to use disparate data sources and relational database constructs to convert data into actionable information.
• Fundamental understanding of Web/Internet Technology. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products Suite. Able to evaluate proposed systems designs and participate in peer reviews, research new technologies and evaluate potential opportunities. Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities. Able to deal effectively with diverse groups of people .

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Administration . Minimum of five years of experience using analysis software, data analysis, or statistical techniques . Exposure to SQL, Oracle and other relational database structures . Healthcare Background
