Professor position (Neuchatel, Switzerland)
The Department of Statistics of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, invites applications for an assistant professorship in Applied Statistics beginning September 1, 2008 or upon mutual agreement. A PhD (no later than September 2008) in statistics or a related field is required. Applicants are expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and potential to conduct quality research in one of the interest topics of the Faculty (times series analysis, multivariate statistics, mixed models, regression, computational statistics). Interest in statistical applications in areas such as management, economics, and the psychological and social sciences would be advantageous. Other duties include teaching bachelor and master level statistics courses, in French or English, and some administration. Female candidates are particularly encouraged. For more details, see
