Financial Analyst, junior and senior - DHL (Brussels, Belgium)
DHL, worldwide leader in logistics and express services, is currently searching for 2 highly motivated and professional Financial Analysts for the Finance and Business Support department of our Global Customer Solutions (GCS) organization. You will provide accurate management information on performance of the TOP 100 DHL customers to different management levels within GCS and the different business units.
You have 1-3 (for the junior) and 4-6 (for the senior) years of experience as financial analyst and you are interested to work in an international, multicultural environment, then this opportunity might be yours…
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Consolidating financial information of different business units and countries within EMEA.
- Monthly reporting and analysis of revenue development and financial performance of top 100 DHL customers across the business units.
- Providing ad hoc analysis in support of Industry Sector heads and customer account managers to help them achieve an accurate understanding of customer performance and development.
- Developing new standard reports based on requirements of each Industry Sector.
- Supporting the Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting process.
Candidate Requirements:- Strong communication skills and attitude of action-oriented problem solver.
- Excellent analytical skills, understanding business logic behind figures and true root-cause analysis attitude.
- Able to communicate in English effectively and clearly, in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and in group presentation situations.
- Able to work well under pressure, perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a complex business environment.
Your Background
You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and have experience in financial analysis, planning and reporting. For senior role experience in project finance, database applications and/or customer profitability analysis is required. Previous experience in international business environment within the logistics industry or in consolidation department is a plus.
