Cross Enterprise Strategy is an in-house strategy group. It is one of the main intake valves for top-tier talent at Schwab and provides members with an unparalleled opportunity to work on the major strategic and operational issues confronting the business and with visibility among the Firm's senior leadership. The group's focus is on driving resolution of critical questions of business strategy that cut across more than one revenue Enterprise. Upcoming activities include pricing strategy and articulation of a retirement strategy.
In this role, the Director of Cross Enterprise Strategy will be responsible for working with Enterprise leadership on critical strategic initiatives to improve performance. This position will span a wide range of strategic and analytic initiatives. Reports to VP, Cross Enterprise Strategy who in turn reports to EVP, Solution Services (a direct report of the President/COO of Schwab).
This position requires strategic thinking, strong analytic skills, project management capabilities, and significant personal presence. The candidate must be comfortable facilitating groups and influencing individuals across a range of tenures and working styles. Candidate must be self-motivated and results oriented in addition to working independently in leading cross-enterprise initiatives. Background requirements: financial industry experience; minimum 6 years of experience post undergrad; MBA preferred; preference for work in management consulting at a top-tier management consulting firm.
