Job Description: Manage all aspects of predictive-modeling projects, be the senior technical resource for assigned projects, develop and mentor junior analysts, and provide pre and post-sales technical assistance to clients.
Candidate Requirements: - Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- A Ph.D. would be desirable.
- At least seven years of experience building predictive models on very large datasets.
- Must thoroughly understand data-reduction techniques, clustering, and GLM.
- Experience with neural networks and geo-spatial analytics would be a plus.
- Must possess a deep understanding of the business of insurance and insurance data.
- Experience in applying advanced predictive analytics to develop insurance rating plans would be ideal.
- Insurance professional designations (such as FCAS, ACAS, and CPCU) would be a plus.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have the demonstrated ability to manage projects to deadlines, mentor junior analysts, and explain technical results to technical and non-technical audience
