SAS Programmers, 60-95K (Boston, MA)

We have an immediate need for three SAS programmers for permanent positions in the Boson, Massachusetts area (Cambridge).

Requirements include: BS degree and at least one year of SAS programming experience
Qualified to minimally BSc, BA or equivalent, preferably in a numerate discipline
Good PC skills and good analytical skills. Any previous pharmaceutical experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • To assist with definition of database and set up of data entry screens
  • To create derived SAS datasets as appropriate.
  • To set up systems for study processing
  • To prepare electronic data for export and prepare any documentation for return at study completion as requested
  • To report progress against schedules to project manager as appropriate
  • To assist with programming tasks for reporting of allocated projects:
  • To work with the statistician(s) to ensure work is completed within the agreed timeline and to the required standard.
  • To program tables, figures and listings according to the SAP or to a specified client requirement
