Software Developer / SAS Programmer (Austin, TX and Los Angeles, CA)
This position is located in the greater Austin, TX area as relocation assistance is available!
We are an advanced software development firm and we provide customized and innovative software solutions to consumer-oriented applications with a focus on teleservices, call centers, collections, financial services, health care, sales and more.
We have experienced consistent business growth and due to that growth, we are currently looking to add another SAS Developer / Statistician.
Do you have at least two years experience with SAS programming? Do you have a Masters or a PhD in Statistics? If so, read on!
In general, what will you do?
- Use SAS programming to perform statistical modeling
- Work on projects as a team member to handle architecture, design, code, and test of our business intelligence, reporting, and analytics applications as well as supporting those applications
- Defining complex technical design/requirements for large projects
- Analyze data and/or processes for anomalies; identify & resolve issues
- Create, maintain & enhance statistical models, programs, and processes
- Lead and participate in design reviews
What you'll need:- 1+ years software development for real time web interface
- 2+ years programming and data mining for bank or financial services - call center a plus
- SAS experience in either Predictive Analytic Software industry or Financial Services
- Expert command of SQL
- Knowledge in statistical programs such as R or SPSS
- 5 years of heavy statistics including the creation of multivariate and non parametric
- Bachelors Degree
