Contract Web Analyst (Knoxville, TN)
A client of ours in Knoxville, TN is looking for a Contract Web Analyst to provide media-related business intelligence and web analytics. In this position, you will:- work closely with business managers, users and subject matter experts to gather requirements necessary to build operational data stores, data marts, and other reporting-based databases.
- translate business requirements to the data modeler, report designers, and developers.
- effectively communicate system or IT issues back to the user in a way that is meaningful.
- provide expertise to QA Analysts and developers during all phases of development.
- perform data analysis or direct the activities of a data analyst.
A strong candidate must possess: - proven experience creating Fact/Qualifier Matrices and/or Grain Statements.
- proven experience working with the development team and QA teams, mostly during the following lifecycle phases: requirements, design, test, and deployment.
- thorough understanding of data structures and SQL.
- working understanding of star schemas and other data warehouse or ODS data structures.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
This is a contract opportunity with a possible, but not guaranteed, potential for conversion to direct hire. The pay rate could be as high as $50-55/hour.
