Would you like to be a part of an elite Click Fraud team? Volt Technical Resources is looking for Program Managers to work with a Software Giant in Redmond, Washington. The ad center has developed an approach to click-fraud that is an industry first and they want you to be a part of this initiative. These people must be willing and able to get their hands dirty, analyzing known click fraud programs, sift through large amounts of data to try to understand robotic activity and looking for activity that is suspicious in nature. This work is critical for allowing their ad center to develop effective counter-measures to this problem. The successful candidate must have a range of skills, be able to get down into the details and be hands on and drive the development of counter-measures.

The media is making breathtaking claims about the extent and scope of the online fraud problem, with some media sources estimating that the problem is as big as $1 billion per year. Companies such as Yahoo are now facing law suits because their syndicated links have been used by spyware programs and Google has already settled over $90 million this year. Amidst this charged environment, a Software Giant in Redmond, Washington is working on methods to address the problem in all of its aspects and make the internet safe for advertisers.

This is an estimated 1 year contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. Requirements:

Required Skills for this Program Manager position include the following:

• Anti-Virus Expertise: Ability to analyze the clicker programs, identify their signatures and then help the ad center development team to develop features to counter those programs. The Program Manager will utilize software developed by an internal crimes team to safely analyze clicker behavior.
• Honeypot Analysis: Ability to analyze honeypot data to obtain visibility into the types of threats that are being collected, in addition to overall malware trends.
• Penetration Testing: Execute simulated attacks against the ad center to determine vulnerabilities and threats.
• Case Base Development: Ability to identify cases of robotic activity and set these aside for training data. (There is data available from many sources.)
• Statistical Testing: Ability to apply rigorous statistical methods to web usage data, in order to determine which behavioral signatures are statistically unusual.
• HTTP Protocol: Ability to program Web pages
• MS ISA Experience: MS IIS and Apache Web Server Protocols: Experience in maintaining web servers dropping out weblogs, HTTP headers and so on.
• TCP/IP Protocol: Experience with routing, BGP, packet sniffing and other methods.
• Javscripting: Programming experience with Javascript and other webpage scripting languages. Ability to decompile malicious Javascript as well as write their own Javascript.
