SAS Programmer (McLean, VA)

• Minimum one to three years relevant work experience required with demonstrated experience with SAS programming on UNIX and/or Mainframe environment, preferably in the Finance or Tax domain
• Minimum one to three years relevant work experience required with demonstrated experience with strong SQL skills and JAVA programming on UNIX platforms
• Experience working in a development environment that follows established Release Management and Configuration Control standards, adhere to SDLC guidelines and procedures
• Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Ability to work in a team and blend with existing team structure
• Knowledge of secondary mortgage market business preferred
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills, proficiency in root cause analysis, and ability to solve problems in standalone and well as a team environment
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in CS, CIS, MIS or similar discipline
• Willingness to step above and beyond the role assigned. A good example would be to be able to produce deliverable documents relating to design.
