Sr. Statistician/Modeler (WA)
Seeking a change of pace? We are seeking statisticians who are equally adept at building predictive models and driving business decisions to join this fast-paced, created group of modelers who leverage their analytical expertise to drive the organization. In this role, you will - Introduce analytical models to solving complex business problems including fraud, marketing and/or pricing.
- Create statistical design, coding, and model validation to support various business requirements.
- Develop statistical code that executes in a production environment also considering error handling, exception conditions, etc.
- Work closely with management and development team to ensure that solutions meet business needs and have relevant functional uses.
- Document the technical aspects of your creations.
- Provide guidance to other statisticians/modelers.
Requirements - 7+ years modeling experience in a business environment.
- Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in quantitative discipline…statistics, economics, applied mathematics, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of quantitative methods and predictive modeling.
- Experience in e-commerce space preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SAS; Functional proficiency in SQL.
