Machine Learning Engineer (Palo Alto, CA)

Pay rate: $100,000-$130,000+

Gravity is working with a leading Bay Area web services company that is a pioneer in developing analytics applications. Our client is privately held and has a large number of Fortune 200 customers, and has built strong alliances with global leaders in the financial, real estate, and technology markets.

As a lead member of our engineering team you will join a highly aggressive and innovative team, to help create a new web-based analytics product. You will produce product designs and specifications, while working with the team to troubleshoot and fix development issues. You will work closely with our Engineering executive team as well as our Chief Scientist.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as Software Engineer
• Strong experience with multi-threaded C++ applications
• Experience with STL, XML, HTTP required
• Background in machine learning, data mining, data retrieval
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
• BS in Computer Science or related engineering degree
