Sr. SAS Programmer (Wayne, PA)

Skills: Clinical SAS Programming

Currently, we are experiencing significant growth and are conducting a nationwide search in efforts to expand our Clinical Data Operations Team. We have positions available at both the Sr. / Lead Programmer and Programmer level. Reporting directly to the Director of Programming, our Clinical Sr.SAS Programmers will be responsible for the following:

  • Review case report form (CRF) design
  • Design and/or review database structure
  • Write edit checks from the Data Cleaning Plan (DCP) specifications
  • Create derived-analysis datasets
  • Execute analyses specified in the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) or Report and Analysis Plan (RAP) under the guidance of the project statistician
  • Act as primary programmer to produce tables, listings, and figures for the clinical study report (CSR)
  • Act as secondary programmer to validate SAS programs that produce derived-analysis datasets and data analyses

Successful candidates will have the following skills/experience:
  • Four year degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years SAS programming experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or contract research organization industries
  • Good working knowledge of Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS/STAT, SAS Language and SAS Stats software
