Data Analyst (San Francisco, CA)

Position Description:

Generate weekly metrics report. Design and develop database programs to manage company’s raw data information. Manage and maintain database programs. Provide ad hoc statistical reporting to management and CAS executives. Execute data mining using its own written queries. Support management and executives by providing prompt and vital information to achieve CAS overall business objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Generate weekly reports.
  • Design and develop database programs using MS ACCESS database.
  • Manage and maintain database programs.
  • Compiles and analyzes metrics to identify trends.
  • Calculate and maintain key metrics information.
  • Provide timely reporting to CAS management and executives.
  • Special projects working with various departments of the company.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor degree in MIS, FINANCE, or ECONOMICS.
  • Strong Math/Statistics skill.
  • Must possess strong oral and written interpersonal communications skills.
  • Must possess skills necessary to develop, analyze, and maintain key CAS metrics.
  • Advance level EXCEL (i.e. use of Pivot tables, custom graphs, nested IF/THEN statements, macros, and VLOOKUP) and ACCESS (i.e. develop forms, reports, queries, macros, and VB scripts) skills.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry.
  • Must be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ad hoc reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
