Job Description:
The Data Mining and Site Optimization Engineer will be responsible for driving traffic to our highest value areas of the site, optimizing our paid search campaign, and building and maintaining back-end reporting tools.

Job responsibilities:

• Measure, Analyze, and Learn: Using existing tracking systems, gather data to report on all search traffic, analyze trends and learn what's working and what isn't and then modify as necessary.
• Site Optimization: Using SEO best practices, improve title tags, headers, links, and text areas to make content more relevant to phrases people actually use when searching for pictures.
• Paid Search: Optimize the paid search ads served throughout the site. Identify keywords and phrases that relate to content and drive click throughs.

• Desire to learn and perform Search Engine Optimization
• Project management/organizational skills
• Experience in scripting language, preferably Perl

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Excellent math and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and other software programs
• Familiarity with structure of an internet site

Having or working towards BS/BA in Mathematics or Statistics or related field
