More than 100,000 patients have entered treatment with Invisalign, and more than five million unique Aligners have been produced.
This position is responsible for transforming data with the aim of extracting useful information and facilitating conclusions. Depending on the type of data and the question, this might include application of statistical methods, curve fitting, selecting or discarding certain subsets based on specific criteria, or other techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Managing Internal database
- Developing hypothesis and gathering data to test them
- Analysis, interpretation, or explanation of data
- Presentation of data in a clear and cohesive manner
- Ensures accurate, up-to-date records of all documents
- Follows all departmental and company procedures as indicated in quality, administrative, or other systems.
- Identifies, implements, and maintains process improvements in order to ensure continuous improvement to product quality.
- Provides technical assistance to clinical research associates
- Travel may be required – up to 5%
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in statistics or related field
- 1-2 years of data analysis and statistical experience with biological applications
- Ability to think critically and scientifically
- Ability to write reports and protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of Statistics and experience in statistical modeling.
- Experience with statistical data analysis (i.e. linear models, multivariate analysis, CART, stochastic models, sampling methods) in both academic coursework or project/work experience
- Knowledge of R or other statistical packages required, Excel is desirable
- Knowledge of principals for data visualization and related tools
- Experience with experiment design is a plus
- Experience with automation of analysis is a plus
- Database query experience (e.g. SQL) is a plus
- Programming experience (e.g. scripting in Perl or Python) is a plus
- Knowledge of web based applications is a plus
