Sr. Consumer Insights Analyst (OH)

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000, plus excellent benefits

Relocation: YES - for qualified candidates

If you like working with products that have strong "emotional appeal" and also partnering with others cross-functionally to develop exciting new products, consider this role. A person in this position is responsible for the design and analysis of qualitative and quantitative consumer research projects. If – as a researcher, you have been highly involved with customer segmentation, product launches, and concept testing for new consumer product goods, this role should be of interest. If you have enjoyed seeing products you developed eventually hit the store shelves, this could be a fit.

So to be a great fit for this role you must be both CREATIVE and must be comfortable with numbers and statistics. If you can look at large sets of data and see the data trends and tell the story back to others, you're on the way to becoming the Sr. Consumer Insights Analyst.

Great candidates will be conceptual thinkers who are flexible and flourish working in small collaborative teams. Must have experience with understanding business problems and selecting the right research methodologies to apply. People skills are essential for this role. You must be able to effectively communicate with others regularly. Great individuals for this role will be market researchers with business savvy skills who enjoy partnering with others in different areas of the business to grow exciting products and enhance the bottom line.

This job is located in North Central Ohio. It does not have remote options. (Sorry) All interested candidates must be willing to live in the area.

Do You Qualify?

  • MBA or MS Degree in Business, Consumer Research, Psychology or Sociology
  • More than 5 years research experience
  • CPG research experience
  • Supplier side candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience conducting quantitative studies / and qual studies with variety of recognized research methodologies
  • Strong computer skills, including SPSS or SAS (statistical packages) and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented and very organized
  • Deadline driven / Must like fast paced work environment and show a strong sense of urgency and project commitment
  • Multi-Tasker / Able to manage and coordinate multiple projects & deadlines
  • Love working in a team environment
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Current authorization to work for ANY U.S. employer
