Sr. Manager, Strategy & Segmentation (San Francisco)

To ensure SCRS participants' financial fitness by introducing them to SIS & Schwab Bank financial products, solutions, help & guidance and relationships and to convert them into clients

Scope of participants:

Retirement Plan Related

  • Retirement Plan Services (RPS)
  • 401(K) Company
  • PAS ­ TPAs
  • PAS ­ iPCRA

Other brokerage related cross-service
  • Stock Plan Services
  • Other as becomes strategically critical

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist in the roll-out of new products and services to plan participants including participant notification, and overall promotional campaign planning.
  • Work with internal data team (CMI) to define the appropriate segmentation for plan participants.
  • Conduct competitive research and monitoring for the defined contribution space. Keep the team up to speed on all market trends and competitive offers.
  • Assist in the ongoing management of the participant research community including managing topics, reporting and implications.
  • Help define and determine how the participant experience should be updated to reflect Schwab One Experience.
  • Help determine how to best manage content for our products and services.

Qualifications

5+ years in marketing, market research, and/or strategy consulting. Experience preferred in Financial Services, specifically with defined contribution/investment services knowledge. MBA a plus. Experience in establishing positioning in both the B:B and B:C voice, as well as managing multi-channel communications, and serving as a conduit for Sales and Marketing organizations. Strong problem solving skills; Strong written and oral communication skills; passion for cross-service marketing and helping participants secure their financial future/achieve financial fitness; successful experience in driving cross-functional and organizational teams to meet objectives.
