Metrics Analyst (Denver, CO)

We are looking for a Metrics Analyst to join our Workforce Analytics Team.

The Workforce Analytics Team is located in our Denver Corporate Headquarters and is responsible for the predictive element of our cutting edge Human Resources Talent Organization (Winner of the 2007 ERE Awards). Their work is the foundation for targeted candidate attraction campaigns, proactive retention efforts, and even managing our vendor relationships. The Analytics Team predicts successful candidate attributes based upon historic trends, as well as potential “at-risk” employees. In addition, the Analytics team builds business-driven demand models to validate and predict employee headcount for different business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with HR Leaders to understand their reporting needs, design reports to meet their requirements, and work with colleagues to make sure the reports are properly interpreted and used. Responds to ongoing internal customer requests for data and analysis.
  • Performs data analysis to identify strategic trends and actionable customer insights, based on a clear understanding of business objectives.
  • Communicates findings clearly, in charts, text, PowerPoint and oral presentations.
  • Serves as an internal subject matter expert on the reporting tools and metrics by providing information on best practices, benchmarks, key performance indicators, etc. Identifies data discrepancies and resolves data integrity issues.
  • Provides training on how to interpret and use data for business analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, and or business, preferred,
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and experience with MS Access required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen ability to use analytic skills and reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, MS Access and or SPSS to develop business-applicable solutions.
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills quickly, including learning new software or research tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a sound comfort level with a high work load.
