Risk Analyst (Beaverton, OR)

SUMMARY: Responsible for contributing to the knowledge base of company by analyzing and communicating the results of tests and overall corporate performance. Recommends criteria and tactics to management based upon results and financial projections.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all duties and responsibilities using strong quantitative, analytical and verbal skills.
  • Manage and manipulate large data sets using SQL or similar query tools.
  • Present salient information from data and graphs to all levels within company.
  • Interact with various business unit managers, outside vendors and consultants.
  • Create analytic, statistical, and programming solutions for various business problems.
  • Regularly audit all datasets, analysis and presentations for accuracy
  • Perform ad-hoc queries and create ad-hoc reports to support analysis, marketing, and operational areas of the company.
  • Ability to read Financial Statements and other business reports.
  • Use simulation techniques to forecast key drivers of cash flow and income based on historical data.
  • Recommend and evaluate test strategies with a focus on profitability and execution.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelors degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent experience. Must possess extreme attention to detail, strong organizational skills and analytical thinking ability. Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access are required. Experience with MS SQL Server, SAS, and similar software is preferred. One or more years of applicable experience are preferred. Must possess strong quantitative skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
