Leading global strategic management consulting firm has a Senior level opening within their Media Division to be based in their NYC location.
Summary of Position:
The Senior Research Analyst will assist consultants by collecting, summarizing, analyzing, and synthesizing facts that serve as critical inputs to client service teams. Additionally the position will be expected to leverage media expertise to guide teams and provide insights and perspectives on a variety of topics. The Analyst will help define and develop service processes and contribute to building a successful knowledge management team with a distinctive service culture and community spirit.

Background/Training- Undergraduate degree from a respected institution (business or economics preferred) and a strong academic record
- Minimum of two years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a research environment at a consulting or media company
- Familiarity with industry sources and databases (e.g., Simmons, NetRatings, Factiva, Thomson Research, etc.)
- Solid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology
- High levels of proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
