Statistical Manager (Kalamazoo, MI)

The Statistical Manager will lead a group of 12-15 Statisticians, SAS developers and Pharmacokinetics in a preclinical research lab. The role includes the following high level management responsibilities:

• Organize, plan and maintain budgets and spending vs. revenue in each department.
• Mentor, coach and communicate departmental and company objectives to Regulatory Operations staff.
• Review and approve SOP’s and revisions.
• Ensure SOP’s, Protocols and study procedures are in compliance with the FDA, EPA and other regulatory agencies.
• Conduct and ensure approved Performance Reviews, Promotions and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assess workload and ensure the BIS department has appropriate equipment and resources to carry out functions.
• Support, inform and carry out directives of the Senior Director, Regulatory Operations and CMT Actively lead / participate in development of new capabilities.
• Assure that the biostats quality metrics and project deadlines are met.
• Discuss statistical designs with clients and Study Directors.

Requirements: This position requires a Master's Degree in Statistics or a related field, 5 years of statistical experience, and 2 years of management experience.
