ONS is the UK’s largest producer of official statistics and the only government department with this as its prime role. Our posts are varied and offer the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, supported by comprehensive training opportunities. Possible roles include: developing new ways to carry out and analyse surveys, using administrative data sources for statistical purposes, statistical modelling and analysis, communicating findings to a broad range of people. Many posts involve interpreting large, complex datasets and presenting the results for publication.

Successful candidates will possess a good honours degree in a relevant discipline, and must be eligible to work in the UK.
