Job Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the Database Marketing Specialist is to help accelerate company growth by improving upon and executing a successful database marketing approach, including mail, e-mail, and the web through the management of electronic and traditional customer data and analytics. Experience in database marketing through analysis and understanding of campaign set-up and support are required. Responsible for procuring and/or maintaining outside vendors for data processing, list management services as well as developing, evaluating, and utilizing any and all relationships, technologies, and services that enhance and improve all direct marketing and related analytical efforts.

Job Qualifications:

The following education and training are required to perform the functions of this position:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 + years experience in analytics and database marketing
• Strong, demonstrated analytical background
• An understanding of database and direct marketing techniques, strategy and design
• Proficiency in database queries, data normalization, and other statistical packages preferred.
• Vendor management experience
• Understanding of search engine optimization and search marketing
• Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation and creative problem solving skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Excel, Access, and data analysis experience
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple concurrent projects, maintain timelines
