Risk Management Statistician - American Express (Phoenix, AZ)
This critical position will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing, implementing and tracking strategies relating Case Setup, Line Reduction, Segmentation and Cancellation Strategy.
The incumbent will work closely with business partners ( regional teams, CSI, marketing) to drive profitable growth and enhance customer experience.
This position requires outstanding analytical skills, excellent communication skills as well as a dynamic and energetic approach to problem solving.
Qualifications: - Knowledge of SAS or other programming language Knowledge in risk modeling is preferred.
- Ability to do strategic business analysis Aptitude in displaying and communicating data analysis Experience in manipulating datasets and samples An advanced degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Statistics or related is required.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical skills, and strong thought leadership.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a team environment across geographical boundaries.
