Software Developer / Web Architect (San Francisco, CA)

Summary:

Focus on design and architecture of our next generation products. Design, implement and test procedures and software for new business solutions using standard three tier architecture. You'll work on all tiers including Database, business logic and presentation layers. Take initiative to anticipate and address challenges within a high growth environment. Work with local and remote team members to implement, test and deploy innovative business services based on the Questra IDM solution. You will have the opportunity to impact business decisions, seeing the bigger picture and bridging domains. You'll work with customer and partner teams as needed, addressing implementation and production issues in order to increase understanding of Questra Solutions being used in the 'real world'.

Required Experience and Background:

• 8+ years hands on software development
• J2EE technologies and application servers
• Java Server Software Development
• Design and implementation of multi-tiered mission critical enterprise applications including data partitioning, database and application clustering.
• Relational database technologies and data driven applications built on commercial RDBMS, specifically Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (PL-SQL, T-SQL programming)
• Web services
• Ability to read and create UML for requirements analysis and design.
• Desire to be involved at a higher level, beyond programming, seeing the bigger picture
• Initiative, drive & sense of ownership
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Knowledge of software development processes and tools, including configuration management.
• Education: BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related discipline
