Position Summary: The Score Developer position provides project specific support in building scoring solutions that integrate effectively into existing systems and processes while delivering strong and consistent performance. With the guidance of the Sr. Director ­ Score Development, Lead, and/or Senior Score Developers, the Score Developer conducts score development, validation, monitoring, tracking and specification. Essential Functions: Develop predictive models and scores in the areas of credit risk, collection, fraud, and marketing; develop application scores to support underwriting decisions for credit cards and loans in international portfolios; responsible for the development, validation, and on-going tracking and monitoring of scores; work with Sr. Director ­ Scoring Analysis and other DS staff to insure project completion within agreed time frames and end-client satisfaction. Education, Experience, and Skills Required: Knowledge of SAS or similar statistical software, Unix and/or Mainframe environments required; PhD or M.S in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related fields strongly preferred; knowledge of credit card application and/or receivable systems such as TSYS, FDR, ScoreX, Triad, etc. preferred; knowledge of credit bureau systems and interfaces preferred; good oral & written communication skills a plus; international experience (business, education, living abroad) a plus.
