BACKGROUND:
We are currently looking for new recruits for our Statistics Group. This group provides statistical consultancy across the Unilever Colworth laboratories, working closely in project teams with scientists.
JOB DETAILS:
The people we are looking for will be able to manage the statistical content of projects, deciding on appropriate design and analysis approaches, performing the analyses and presenting and reporting the results. Methodology development and improvement is also an important part of our role, as we are committed to expanding the statistical capabilities of our group.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated people with excellent communication skills. You should have a post-graduate qualification (or equivalent) in Statistics. Further experience in areas such as clinical/human studies, epidemiology or Bayesian analysis techniques would be a benefit. Good IT skills are essential as is experience with a major maths or statistics package such as SAS or S-plus.
