Need senior Data Analyst on the Business side with strong MS experience. - 6 years of Experience in Data Analysis and Reporting
- Very good MS Access and MS Office experience/skills
- Microsoft Certification - is a huge plus
- Experience with Data Warehouses
- Business Objects and/or TOAD experience (if possible)
- Oracle and SQL experience
- Extraction of data from Enterprise Oracle Systems (using Business Objects and/or TOAD),
- Extensive manipulation of large volumes of data in MS Access,
- Distributing output into MS Excel spreadsheets,
- Maintenance of a slick "thin client" Excel "front-end" to navigate and display results using dropdown menus and charts with data offsets.
Responsible for co-managing a reporting "service bureau" my team will be responsible for. We will be automating the regular distribution of standard reports that will be distributed throughout CA and CA Finance. These reports will be a combination of Business Objects reports, Excel reporting packages, Dashboard updates, Scorecards, etc. They will be helping us to automate these from multiple different data sources using multiple different tools to start the reporting and then eventually migrate the reports into a "standard" data warehouse using consistent tools.- 1) Downloading a dataset from an enterprise Business Objects universe and loading it on MS Access ting queries from that dataset in MS Access that will populate worksheets in MS Excel 3) Configuring the queries so that the information saved in MS Excel will refresh pre-existing chart templates
