SAS Programmer, Contract (Richmond, VA)

Job Description:

Intermediate/Advanced SAS Programmer:

• This individual would be working in an Agile team environment where requirements from the business clients are implemented using a variety of SAS programming techniques (macros, data piping, compiled data preparation, etc.) They should have the ability to design, code, and validate code interactions through multiple steps in a process.
• Required: 3+ years experience with Unix scripting, SAS Business Intelligence Server, SAS Macros and SAS Connect.
• Preferred: SAS version 9+ programming experience within a real-time production environment
• Fully qualified technical professional in all aspects of the role.
• Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field.
• Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.
• Provides technical solutions to a wide range of technical problems.
• Works under general direction and independently determines/develops approach to solutions.
